How to create a constructor with String?
I want to create a constructor with string parameter.
Like this:
public void newUser(String name,String password,int role){
}
Where I can use the name and the password as the name of a variable that I create.
Thanks in advance.
A:
That's not a constructor, it's a method.
It does not make sense to put a String in a constructor, because the parameters must be declared. You want to create a new user, but the user name and password are not created in the constructor.
For that you can create a method which creates the user.
private void newUser(String name, String password, int role) {
// do something
}
After over 5 years of effort, we are very pleased to announce that we have reached the 1.0 milestone in the project. What does this mean?
The first version of the library is now released and publicly available.
What’s the difference between the version 1.0 and the current version 1.3.1?
The major difference is that the current version is the last major revision of the library and is compiled against Google’s Android Support Library v26, while the version 1.0 is the first major release of the library.
Also there are a few more bug fixes and performance improvements.
What’s the status of the library?
As of the 1.0, the library is well tested on all the supported devices. The library is also fully supported by Google and Android teams.
What’s the next version?
We plan to release the next major revision of the library when we have full support for all the devices and Android version supported by the library.
Is the library available?
The library is available on Maven Central repository. You can find the library’s URL at the top of this page. The latest version of the library is available under the Apache 2.0 license. You can find the license URL at the top of this page.
Do you have a demo?
Yes, you can find a demo of the library here.
How to run the demo?
For the demo to run, you need to download ac619d1d87
